Elbasan – Swift police intervention leads to arrest during attempted car theft in the “Beqir Dardha” neighborhood.A 56-year-old man has been arrested in Elbasan after being caught in the act while trying to steal a “Mercedes Benz ML.” The attempted theft took place in the “Beqir Dardha” neighborhood, prompting an immediate response from local police forces.
The suspect, identified as L. M., a resident of Elbasan, was apprehended at the scene. Police also seized a metal tool believed to have been used to force open the vehicle’s door.
Authorities are continuing investigations to determine whether the individual is connected to other similar thefts in the area.The case materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Elbasan General Jurisdiction Court for further legal action.
