Horror in Librazhd! 32-Year-Old Sets Elderly Neighbor on Fire Over a Trivial Dispute – Man Hospitalized, Attacker Arrested

A disturbing act of violence shocked the town of Librazhd after a 32-year-old man attempted to burn his elderly neighbor alive following a petty neighborhood dispute.

According to police reports, 75-year-old S. O. was rushed to the Prrenjas hospital with serious burn injuries. Investigations revealed that the suspect, G. O., aged 32, had thrown gasoline on the elderly man outside his home and deliberately set him on fire during an argument.

Thanks to swift police action, the perpetrator was arrested at the scene. The victim is currently under medical care and out of immediate danger.

This brutal incident highlights the growing wave of extreme violence even in small communities and raises serious concerns about public safety and mental health in Albanian society.

Authorities have handed the case over to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Elbasan General Jurisdiction Court for further legal proceedings.
