Operation "Destination 5" in Tirana: 24-Year-Old Arrested with 3.6 kg of Cannabis Shipped from the US

Tirana Police have struck another blow against drug trafficking through the operation codenamed “Destination 5.” A 24-year-old man has been arrested, suspected of smuggling high-THC cannabis from the United States to Albania via postal services.
The suspect was caught in the act while receiving a package containing approximately 3.6 kilograms of cannabis, valued at around €50,000 on the market. The drugs had been shipped through an international courier service.
Investigations are ongoing to fully uncover the network behind this international drug trafficking operation and to identify and apprehend other individuals involved.
